Master Class / Mock Test
In a master class or mock test, students watch and listen as the instructor, usually an expert in a particular discipline, takes one student at a time. Each student usually performs a single piece which they have prepared, and the instructor will give them advice on how to play it. Demonstrations of how to play certain passages, and common technical errors would also be shown. The other elements like sight-reading, aural tests etc.. will also be covered.
